Summer Camps at Joshua’s Stage

Demonstrate Creativity! Increase Self-Confidence! Build Social Skills!
Engage in a summer of fun activities featuring theater arts, improv, arts and crafts, music, dance, photography, and create-a-story. Participants perform in an original play or a musical production, and more, in the weekly Showcase for their family and friends. 


Joshua’s Stage is the premiere enrichment program for individuals with a wide range of special needs, featuring after-school programs, camps, workshops, and more including activities in theater arts, arts and crafts, dance, music, photography, and create-a-story. Participants enrolled in programs at Joshua’s Stage have the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, increase their self-confidence, and build their social skills in a warm and welcoming environment. Typical developing individuals are encouraged to participate in our programs. All staff and volunteers pass a background check. Our ratios are one instructor for every three participants.

Joshua’s Stage uses The Creative Outlet Method, an innovative curriculum that celebrates each participant’s unique abilities while providing positive behavior supports in the form of the HIPPP Rules and the A+ Audience Type.

Theater Arts and More! Summer Camp for Grades K-5, June 2022

Note: This camp is only available for participants who are enrolled in the Capitol School of Austin June camp from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Dates: Monday June 6 – Friday July 1, 2022
Days and Times: Mondays – Fridays, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Options: 4 weeks, 3 weeks, 2 weeks, 1 week, Sibling Discounts Available
Your child’s day includes: a warm welcome from our staff, arts and crafts, Welcome Circle, theater arts and improv games and activities, singing to known songs and create original songs, recess, snack, story time, dance to favorite tunes and learn new moves, experience digital photography, create-a-story, and perform in the Friday Showcase.

Theater Arts and More! Ages 14 and Up

Program Description: Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, increase their self-confidence, and build their social skills while they engage in theater arts, improv, music, dance, arts and crafts, and create-a-story. Participants will star in the Showcase for their family and friends during the last session, as they perform an original class-designed play, sing both familiar and original songs, and perform a choreographed dance routine. A positive experience will be shared by everyone as we embrace our HIPPP Rules – our positive behavior supports within The Creative Outlet Method.


Theater Arts and More! Ages 8-21, June 2022

Dates: Monday June 13 – Friday June 17, 2022
Days and Times: Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Baca Center, 301 West Bagdad Ave, Round Rock, TX 78664
Note: This is a one-week, half-day camp.
Your child’s day includes: In this half-day camp led by Joshua’s Stage participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, increase their self-confidence, and build their social skills while they engage in theater arts, improv, music, dance, arts and crafts, and create-a-story. Participants will star in the Showcase for their family and friends during the last session, as they perform an original class-designed play, sing both familiar and original songs, perform a choreographed dance routine, and present their photography exhibits. A positive experience will be shared by everyone as we embrace our H.I.P.P.P. Rules – our positive behavior supports within The Creative Outlet Method.

I honestly think his summer with you at Joshua’s Stage opened up his creative side and really let it loose, because he’s been gaining strength (and hilarity) in his creative work ever since.
