Stay cool with a blast of creativity this summer! Participants will demonstrate their creativity, build their self-confidence, and enhance their social skills through activities including theatre arts, improv, arts and crafts, music, dance, photography, and Create-A-Story. Every Friday we’ll conduct our Showcase where participants perform in an original play, present their photography exhibits, and more. Additional activities include recess, snack, lunch (if participating all day), story, and other recreational activities. Our caring and qualified staff and instructors are trained in The Creative Outlet Method™, and have completed a background check.
Additional camps being added . . . check back soon.
Our summer camp goal is for your child to experience a warm and welcoming environment where their unique abilities are celebrated. Our ratio is one instructor for every 3 participants, and we will also have volunteers. Your child will receive positive behavior supports from our team to encourage a successful summer camp experience.
Joshua’s Stage uses the The Creative Outlet Method™. The Creative Outlet Method™ is the process used to enhance every participant’s unique abilities while providing them with the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, increase their self-confidence, and enhance their social skills. To foster and maintain a warm and welcoming environment for everyone, qualified staff and volunteers are trained to implement the CUPSS of The Creative Outlet Method™:
Create – create and conduct activities with our passion for the fine arts
Unique – celebrate every participant’s unique abilities while recognizing their accomplishments with our “Ferris Wheel Round of Applause”
Positive – develop and maintain a positive relationship with every participant
Support – support participants so that they encourage each other to achieve their best
Success – provide an environment for every participant to feel successful
SOfTS – Serving Others for Tremendous Success™
We serve each other within our culture of understanding, patience, flexibility, determination, quality, humility, sincerity, and receptiveness.
